Product design for an exciting new social calendar app, Ribbon. From login to email design, all aspects were considered in building and delivering a fun and functional experience with an emphasis on youthful vibrance and nightlife.
The core interaction of the Ribbon app begins with users on an activity map of their local area. Events and active users are shown in iconography, inviting exploration and discovery. By swiping up, users may see events in list form.
A user’s calendar is their complete social organizer. Events mingle with friends to enable simple and powerful invitations to concerts, shows and hangouts.
Robust search capabilities further empower the use to find what they’re looking for rapidly and get back to having fun.
A full constellation of modules were developed for maximum recognition in a variety of indoor and outdoor scenarios. Colors and typography boldly amplify Ribbon’s mission to give users the best version of their social life possible.
